The Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis - Unisex Wood
The Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis is a long-distance endurance paddle challenge and international championship race that takes paddlers 80 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. The event was inspired because of the incredible health benefits of the Ocean for those living with cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease. Travis Suit's daughter Piper was diagnosed with CF when she was four years old.
This bracelet represents everything that CF warriors, their families and all of those involved in the Crossing from the crusaders who paddle 80 miles, to the volunteers, captains, crew and the community embody.
You may not know someone with CF or have a direct connection to it, but I am certain that you have a connection to the strength, courage, love, determination and positive energy that CF warriors and those who are close to it, exemplify. This crossing, this community, is about so much more than just an illness. It represents the commitment to facing every single day being bold in the face of fear, inspiring every breath and 80 miles of love!
Featuring 8mm tiger skin sandalwood, Aquamarine, Amazonite and Hematite, each stone was carefully chosen, and these bracelets carefully curated to represent all of the above. It is to be worn to give all who wear it a reminder that they are a part of something epic and that nothing is impossible. It is meant to inspire everyone who wears it to wake up each and every day and live their lives with purpose, passion, meaning, and a generous heart and spirit. It is ALL THE THINGS!
The Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis is a movement and vehicle of change for building a platform of advocacy to spread awareness, fundraising, inspiration, improved quality of life, and social innovation in the cystic fibrosis community. Through the Piper’s Angels Foundation and our programs, we are able to make a lifelong impact on the patients and families facing the challenges of this heart-breaking terminal disease. With every stroke of your paddle during your training and on the Crossing, you can hold this understanding and intention in your mind and heart. This is why we paddle.
Measure your wrist where a bracelet will sit comfortable. When you stack your bracelets the size may go up or down depending on how many you stack up your arm. Bracelets are measured on a mandrel. Custom orders and sizes available upon request.
